Our client Restaurant Design Associates (RDA) has been dominating the catering design sector for a decade. The family firm was keen to mark this milestone, and so we came up with an integrated PR campaign to help shout about their huge success, whilst reaching existing as well as new clients.
To kick things off, we organised high-quality photography of the team, to help convey their family values and friendly nature. Moving away from the previous corporate style, we added an element of the design flair to enhance its visual branding. We then prepared press materials to alert key publications of the 10th anniversary, whilst highlighting the three new directors as experts in their field, available to provide comment on topics relating to business and catering design.
We then launched all of this content across all channels – media, social, RDA's website – to ensure the biggest possible impact.
The results? We secured media coverage worth an estimated £40,575 throughout March and April, reaching 5.4 million people both offline and online with nearly 400 social engagements. Publications included Hospitality Interiors, Building Design & Construction, Catering Insight, B&I Catering, as well as local newspaper the Shields Gazette.
During the campaign, RDA enjoyed a 41% rise in visitors to its website, compared to March 2016 – with a 127% increase in page views and 55% more page views per session. In terms of social media, RDA saw an 8% rise in followers across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with a 90% increase in engagement compared to the previous period.
