Our client Material Lab, the UK's leading design resource centre, has just relaunched its London studio on Great Titchfield Street, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Providing all the expert advice and inspiring exhibits the A&D community has enjoyed since its inception in 2006, the new showroom extends its offering to include live, interactive room sets, new client meeting zones and a fully-stocked reading room – whilst serving as an elegant, modern canvas for all the materials on display.

As you'd expect from Material Lab, it has been created using the finest materials and makers – the majority of which are UK-based.

With surface materials on display from established and emerging designers, the studio also includes designated spaces for Material Lab's partners Johnson Tiles, Vado, Dulux Trade, Formica, modulyss, Karndean, Tektura and Flowcreate, where they can show their latest products and innovations.

Darren Clanford, Creative Director of Material Lab, said of the refurbishment: “Material Lab has been at the heart of the A&D community for over 10 years, providing a place of exploration and experimentation.

"To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we could think of no better way than to expand our offering – further encompassing the elements that visitors know and love, alongside placing products in situ for a greater understanding of the best option for all projects, great and small.
