Manchester Fertility's latest online refresh after 10 years of Boomerang's support
It’s been almost 10 years since we started working with Manchester Fertility, one of the UK’s leading fertility clinics. Back then, we were hired to provide PR support as well as introduce the company to social media and blogging.
We recommended and implemented a comprehensive PR and digital communications strategy which led to the design and development of a brand new website in 2011.
Seeing great return on their investment, Manchester Fertility trusted Boomerang to build a second website a couple of years later. This time, we appointed photographer, Matthew Stansfield, and worked with Boss Models in Manchester, to create a wealth of new photography for both online and offline.
Thanks to our ongoing help – which has included branding, photography, web design and development, PR, social media and blogging – Manchester Fertility has thrived, moving to state-of-the-art facilities in Cheadle and expanding its staff significantly, as well as its range of services, to cope with continued growth.
We even helped Manchester Fertility to officially launch its partnership with Access Fertility to become the first fertility clinic in the UK to offer its patients an IVF refund ‘money back guarantee’ and also a pre-pay multi-cycle package.
Our support ensured the clinic gained more than £550,000 worth of print and broadcast media coverage across BBC, ITV, Sky News, The Telegraph, The Sun, Daily Mirror and Manchester Evening News – reaching over 21 million people in less than a week.
We also attracted strong engagement on social media, with over 228,000 impressions and a 1,962% increase in direct social referrals to our client’s website. In total, our campaign resulted in 5,000+ visits to Manchester Fertility’s website – a 96% increase in web traffic compared to the previous week, and conversions rose by a record-breaking 72% with hundreds of new patients registering their interest in the new programme.
This latest website is the third we’ve created for the clinic. We collaborated with Nine Sixty to design and build the site and worked again with Matthew Stansfield to create a wealth of new photography to suit the branding and key messages of the company.
